Spread the love

This heady skunk is a Canadian original, grown for decades on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Island Sweet Skunk smells and tastes exactly as its name implies: sweet and skunky with hints of the tropics. This strain is useful in relieving anxiety, depression, nausea, and pain. It can also help with nerve pain, migraines, arthritis, and GI disorders.  The cerebral high packs a major mood boost, with feelings of happiness and euphoria. It tends to promote energy and creativity, but there’s also a mellow body effect that encourages relaxation.

I had read about this strain but never came across it anywhere until now. I was really excited to try it but the pic almost discouraged me from ordering as it reminded me of some nasty homegrown full of stems that I got stuck with a while ago. But I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and the room immediately filled with a pungent skunky aroma. I’m a heavy daily smoker and this got me high af. After smoking for a couple days I’m seeing a pattern: Smoke a joint, get real chatty with everyone and anyone, start doing chores/work, eat all the things, then wait for the body high to settle in and enjoy the couch lock until my symptoms return and its time to burn another one/get more stuff done. Thr only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I found a single little bud that looks dark and crumbled apart with a moist rot smell. No mould, but I had to go through the bag to ensure there wasn’t any more bits like that.
